We are thrilled to announce that our Champions for Children campaign raised an incredible £21,135 - surpassing our target! A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped us to spread the word. This funding will enable us to offer young people a wide range of trips and activities over the summer, boosting their wellbeing and getting them on track to thrive when school starts again in September.

The last year has had a huge impact on the wellbeing and education of the young people we work with. The WLZ programme normally ends in July, at the end of the school summer term. However, in light of this extraordinary year this summer we will continue to provide some support, experiences and opportunities for children and families until the end of August.

Our aim is to offer children the opportunity to participate in sport, drama, music, art and crafts and a range of trips and visits - as well as accessing some additional support from their Link Worker where needed.

These activities will support them with much needed social interaction with their peers, to promote positive emotional wellbeing and have the chance to take part in some fun-filled activities after a very challenging year.

The Champions for Children campaign is the perfect opportunity for those who want to support the wellbeing and progress of children negatively affected by the pandemic in West London. Every donation you make during this week will be doubled! Our target is £20,000 - can you help us to reach it?

Together, we can help young people to build the confidence and skills they need to get back on track.

A gift of £15, doubled to £30 (+gift aid!) could pay for an hour of Football Coaching for 15 or more young people

A gift of £30, doubled to £60 (+gift aid!) could pay for an hour of Dance Workshops for 15 or more young people

A gift of £120 doubled to £240 (+gift aid!) could pay for a two hour Art Workshop for 15 or more young people

One donation, twice the impact.

Thanks to our match funding partner The Childhood Trust.
